Comedy Night

A bit delayed uploading this blip. We were out at a comedy night in a local theatre.

My friend suggested it - 'it starts at 7pm and seats are first come, first seated so best go early'

So my husband and I arrived at 6.45 and asked if we could go through, 'I'll have to check' came the reply. Anyway, we were allowed through to an area which seated about 60 and were in the process of choosing where to sit (definitely not at the front) when the rest of our party arrived. Now there were 4 of us in the room!

7 o'clock came and went, people were still arriving and I thought, well they obviously don't want to start until the room is a bit fuller. Then someone checked their ticket and found out that it didn't start until 8pm - no wonder the woman at the box office looked a bit bewildered when we wanted to go in so early.

Despite the missunderstanding the night was brilliant. No big names but a laugh from the first to the last of them. If you ever get the chance to go to one I can highly recommend it.
Then to cap the evening off - we won tickets to the next comedy night, excellent!
