Helleborus

Most of today was spent working in the garden, tidying and mulching the raised beds whilst listening to the first birdsong heard for a long time.

Underneath last years undergrowth searching for the light were a couple of Helleborus plants. If this is the wrong name perhaps someone more knowledgeable could correct me. Plant identification is not a strong point.

The bright high cloud gave ideal soft light for a few close up shots with a white cutting board from the kitchen used to hide a fussy background.
