Back Lighting

Lighting is everything in photography and back lighting equally so.  This isn’t a particularly great photo, but as we walked the block early this morning it stopped me in my tracks. It’s the only photo I’ve taken today, so thankful it was ok. 
We’ve been socialising all day, and are just home.....I’ll get my blip in then off to bed. 
Joan and Trev from Nelson are down, so a get together luncheon was organised. We’ve been with our besties, only ten of us, one couple couldn’t make it. 
Of course, Bathurst and the rugby took up much of the latter afternoon and evening,  our All Blacks came away with a good win against Australia, amazing to see the stadium packed to capacity and everyone having a good time. And the car racing at Bathurst, a win to my favourite Kiwi driver Shane Van Gisbergen.  So all in all a splendid day.
