Failure

I so wanted to have a nice family walk, but it was not to be. After an unintended detour on the way there, we only made it as far as the sign, before the Bear refused to budge and the midgies came out. We drank our (too hot) hot chocolate and ate some of the brownies from yesterday, but we remained collectively crabbit, and gave up and went home. 

Then we were treated to a half hour temper tantrum which seemed wildly disproportionate for my perceived transgression, of opening the front door myself, and the audacity of not predicting that the Bear wanted to open the door for me.
