Sunday. Egg sandwiches in the garden with our younger son. First fire in distinctly colder weather; it’s gonna be a long winter in so many ways. A wee Robin cheeped away on the golden tree and underlined the seasonal changes.

Bit of baking here in the afternoon - a lovely smell - my wife made a birthday cake for our older son’s birthday tomorrow.

Watched a recording of the overnight game 2 of the Bledisloe Cup rugby from New Zealand. Great game and a full stadium. And heading into summer. 25 covid deaths there so far in 2020; different choices paying off.
