Which brings me to liars.
Michael Gove was on TV today, on Andrew Marr, who should have been shown the door ages ago as he is either unwilling or unable to hold anyone in the Tory party to account.
One of the rare achievements of this government has been to unite the entirety of Greater Manchester, including several Tory MPs and council leaders, in opposition to the imposition of Tier 3 restrictions on them.
And yet Michael Gove was allowed, unchallenged, to suggest this was an example of Labour ‘playing politics’. Rather that dismiss that and ask some tough questions about, oh I don’t know, corrupt contracts handed out to mates which would see you sacked in any normal organisation, or the total failure of Servco track and trace, or the fact that the scientific advisors are openly in revolt, he was given free reign to spin his bullshit.
I don’t blame him; he’s a pathological liar and narcissist. I do blame the BBC for enabling this though.
