Horrible Horace

Today's been a day of catching up and preparation. Tomorrow I'm off on Stage 2 of the 'Not Iceland' trip, I'll let you know tomorrow where I am but of course no aeroplanes will be involved.

I saw this herring gull sitting on my neighbours chimney against an interesting sky this evening and I thought that would do for today. He seems to have taken up permanent residence whereas we would normally not see gulls much outside of the breeding season.
