Meet the Locals

We have driven down to Crowborough so we can visit NT Standen tomorrow.  A short walk this afternoon up into the town and we came across this statue of Conan Doyle who was at one time a resident.

It was quite surreal driving around the M25 - a midday Sunday looking more like a Tuesday morning on the M42 around Birmingham.


Our son's girlfriend ran a half marathon yesterday, after an on-call shift in the hospital where she works. The charity she ran for support her oncology patients, children having a dire time. More info on her Just Giving page if you would like to make a donation.
