One of the last blooms

Geums are a staple in our garden, always reliable. There are very few flowers left on the plants this year. It wasn’t until I had cropped the picture so that it was a suitable size to be accepted on blip that I saw the tiny insect on the edge of the petal !!

A good session in the garden this morning / afternoon. Did loads, but there is much more to do!!!
