Lapwing at Martin Mere

Finally managed a trip to Martin Mere. Lots of whooper swans, geese and many, many ducks -  and far too many photographs to choose from. In the end I picked out a photo of one of my favourite birds for the blip. 

Had a lovely take away lunch and a vegan magnum. It is good that many places now cater for us vegans. It isn't often that I have to settle for plain crisps and black coffee and I certainly didn't have to do that today. The wholegrain pasty was delicious and I will be going back.
