Abentheuer
I visited our son P. today to bring some belated presents for his birthday on Friday, including his bicycle. After that we made a hike of 23km, starting in a village called "Abentheuer". In English that means adventure. The name exists since 1580, so probably nothing to do with tourism.
In the neighbouring village we saw this dragon. It looks friendly, but that might be optical illusion. Never seen such gargoyles on a modern house.
In the extras I have put a picture that I made during the hike. The track is called Trauntalschleife, an award-winning hiking trail, going through the woods around Abentheuer. Where necessary due to marshland the path is paved with a kind of wooden bridge.
