Parting Paths

"So let the storms rage high,
The dark clouds rise,
They won't worry me;
For I'm sheltered safe within the arms of God.
He walks with me,
And naught of earth shall harm me,
For I'm sheltered in the arms of God."
Those were the comforting words of the duet Roger and Daniel sang, accompanied by Susan, in the traditional music service this morning before we joined the rest of our congregation for Bro. Steve's final sermon as our Senior Pastor.  He spoke to us from Acts 20, encouraging us to remember the past we have shared over the years, to look forward to the future we will have together and warned us to be careful not to let anyone cause divisions among us.  Things WILL be different.  If we trust God to lead us in the decisions that must be made, this church will be a blessing to our community and our world for many years to come  His last Sunday with us will be next Sunday, but who knows what kinds of things will happen during that service.  Come join us and see what God will do!!!.
