Family interest

Mum and I took a break from shopping by popping into High Street Methodist Church for a cup of tea.

I just had to capture a picture of this stone laid by my great, great uncle, and relaid by my Dad when some of the premises were rebuilt to make way for a new road. I think I've got the right number of greats, though there might be one more!

William Woodbridge was Mayor of Maidenhead twice, and was also a Methodist lay preacher, and a builder when the town was booming as a result of the railway making it a pleasant location for commuting into London.
