Starting the day

Well, i was tempted and Dad said "Why not? People have champagne for breakfast".

But somehow, it seemed wrong. I was proved right - warm fino sherry does not go with porridge (salty!), buttered toast, toast and marmite or toast and marmalade.

PS the sherry was where i had put it out of the way while cooking yesterday evening, and was then forgotten.
