The Tree-climbing Sheep of Lockinge
Spent the morning playing 'catch-up' in the house, but managed to get out for some exercise in the afternoon.
The default at the moment is our regular Ardington and Lockinge walk. It is just the right length for a good brisk walk, it relatively quiet, and with some good hill sections to get the heart going. In addition it is always good for a view or two.
There are branches down, after the recent wind and rain, and the resident sheep are enjoying the variety that this brings to their diet; stripping the young leaves and the fresh bark. This one was precariously high up when we first spotted it, and was reversing down as we got near. But it still stopped for a nibble.
