Pontoon Ramp

Picking up the Saturday papers, I noticed that it was round about low tide. So obviously I popped over to check on those warps as you never quite know how things come to rest. 
Much lounging - I even watched a whole game of football live! Twas Everton vs Liverpool and quite enthralling it was, right to the last kick of the ba’ which was of course a VAR disallowed goal. Another absurd decision.
Then some gardening with podcasts - after a political roundup, I tried this Frank Skinner’s poetry podcast thing. The Beats! Thanks to McC the younger for the suggestion.
And later, a film at home - The Trial of the Chicago 7, pretty entertaining, with all the strengths you’d expect from an Aaron Sorkin film. Get me! Like a real movie critic. I still don’t get why you’d cast British actors to play Americans though. Sounds OK to my ears but they must be rubbish, aren’t they? It’s like Jude Law doing Aberdonian. Just naw.
