A Room with a View

Now back home after a lovely week in North Norfolk. The weather was generally good. Lots of people had had the same idea as us, understandably, so it was pretty busy everywhere. This didn’t spoil what was a much needed getaway, having had to abandon at least three trips earlier in the year. Highlights included an upstairs sitting room in the cottage with a large picture window overlooking the marshes, a truly delicious seafood platter from the nearby smokery, the lovely range of birds that I don’t see at home, and some wonderful fungi, especially the Wrinkled Peach.
