Paper airplanes

The eldest came home with a printed paper airplane on Sunday - it was for the youngest to make.  The youngest hasn't been quite so interested, but the eldest really was and we had a airplane competition. 

First day of the 'new normal' today, which was a bit weird and will take some getting used to - for all!  The boys aren't too impressed about no more breakfast and after school club, I think it strangely makes them feel special at school. I think the slightly more relaxed morning's and evenings will win out though! 

Second week of the husband being away, which is starting to feel like a long time and I think we're all looking forward to him coming home. 

Today I'm grateful for: 
Coming home and not having to rush upstairs to work - coffee and making a list of all the things I've been putting off doing instead (it's a long one!) 
Getting a few things on the list done
Lunch time run in the woods and having a deer run along in the woods beside me for about 100m which was very special
