Homeward bound
Leith was once a bustling port completely separate from Edinburgh. I remember taking the Orkney & Shetland passenger service from Aberdeen to Leith and returned the same day by train in 1969.
I crossed the Water of Leith on my way home in the rain. The tram extension works caused traffic tailbacks which allowed me ample safe time to take this photo of a boat that is now a closed restaurant.
Pandemic lockdowns are tightening as Wales announced its half term Firebreak.
