With the theme 'hard' I thought of diamonds, but all mine are at the pawn shop. No matter, as most record styli have a diamond tip, though typically only measuring .004 x .007 mm.
This was a devil to blip, as the dof was tricky and the stylus kept picking up tiny hairs or bits of fluff, despite constant cleaning.
