The Shoeburyness Boom

A mild day for October today so that made us leave home for a little drive and after being thwarted at stopping at our normal car park due to some illegally parked travelllers, we went to Shoebury East Beach for a little stroll along the beach.

Lots of geese around the area of the shoebury boom, if you want to know more the book click here - it marks the edge of the MOD shoebury firing range which is still in use today, so lots of keep out signs!!
