Mistaken identity!!

We took the dogs to Strichen Park for a walk this morning.
My wife called to say she had spotted a squirrel.
I looked and looked but no sign of one.
Then this cutie appeared.
It is only the second time I have seen a rat in the wild.
However, we have had lots of pet rats over the years including
Twinkle
Left and Right
Chrissie and Debbie
and
Hannah
They were all lovely creatures, friendly, easy to handle and clean. Their only downside was they didn’t live very long, between two and three years.
I may be wrong, but I suspect some people will not be too pleased to see this wee beauty.
P.S. I think my wife should start wearing her glasses!!
