Autumn

An early morning trip to Sheffield Park, the best place locally to see the autumn colours. It’s not as it’s best yet so I might fit in another visit in a few weeks.

My friend and I enjoyed our gentle amble round the lakes and woods, laughing at each other trying to get the low angled shots of the fairytale mushrooms. We are both arthritis sufferers so kneeling, squatting or bending over for too long comes at a price!

Restored by tea and coffee, we headed off in search of lunch, choosing a garden centre on the way home.
