IF YOU GO DOWN TO THE WOODS TODAY......

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my hair cut - it was so badly needed and the first time I'd been to a hairdressers since January.  Really weird to sit all that time wearing a mask, but best to do it.    Manda managed to cut around without breaking it at all - amazing.

I had a much needed and wonderful walk with CumbriaLass and Fletch today.  So good to see them both again and to catch up whilst doing some photography.   The car park was full when I got there but within a couple of minutes several dog walkers came back and left so when CumbriaLass arrived just a couple of minutes later there was plenty of space.  

We did meet a few people, mostly dog walkers, on the way - Fletch had a great time meeting some new dogs - another Westie in particular (see extras).  They really like each other, well for the short time they were there anyway.

We were so lucky with the weather, it was in fact quite warm and we had some sunny spells.  

We then went into Ulverston and had a lovely lunch at Gillams (pre-booked).  We had a little bit of a wait but we were still sat at our table at more or less the time we had booked so no problems.  Fletch is so good in cafes, he stays safely tucked under CumbriaLass's chair and after lapping up some much needed water fell asleep.
