How the mighty fall

Tuesday is covid test day for us at work and so once that was over I headed out to a piece of woodland I last visited a couple of years ago. It is the most amazingly mossy woodland you could ever hope to find, like walking on a vibrant green luxury shag-pile carpet (see extra for a small taster)Beautiful. At least this tree would have had a soft landing.
