Heart of gold

This pretty heart shaped leaf was stuck to one of the rain-soaked bottles of milk on my doorstep this morning.
Presumably blown in on last night's storm.
Or maybe a sign from my milkman?!

Made a Dorset Apple traybake this afternoon. First of all it decided to get a little lively and oozed out of the tray and all over the oven shelves - it's never done that before (guess what I am cleaning tomorrow).
And then it split into 4 pieces one of which landed on the floor!
It had better taste as good as it normally does :)
