More sunshine today despite the expectation of rain . 
In the photo you can just about see the mist and rain across the bay but it stayed fine all day for us . 

Decided to watch the news at 6pm rather than 10pm, as is our habit , as all the misery so late at night interferes with sleep . There is more time to process it if we pick it up earlier . 

We heard a good news story on tonight’s news, during the lockdown earlier in the year gov money was used, in the south west, to create  pods for some of the people that normally live on the streets to live in . A number  of those people  were then able to move on into permanent housing. Having an address can really help to break the cycle of homelessness. 

We spent a good few hours standing on the beach  watching the tide come in . When in life is there ever time to do something so simple ?
It was fascinating and quite meditative .
