Drizzly Day

It’s been an overcast, drizzly and gloomy day. Since we couldn’t play outside, the thought of doing housework was so dreadful we visited a local bookstore instead. Browsing books, cards and movies was a much better use of our time! Face coverings are required but we also wore gloves for an extra layer of protection • On the way home we stopped at the Boat Landing to see what was around. There were no eagles or ospreys in sight but there were lots of ring-billed gulls and this double-crested cormorant hanging out on a channel-marker preening. At home, the pine siskins have taken over • That’s it from here. I must find something warm and yummy for dinner so that we can hunker down with a blanket and a cat each before watching an old movie. I suppose “old” is a relative term. For us it means black and white ;)
