Heritage tree

This morning our doggie walk took us through the Corby sculpture park near to where my daughter lives. Corby was once famous for its iron and steel industry but they stopped producing steel in the early 80’s, it then turned into an enterprise zone and many factories opened up. In 2010 a huge London advertising campaign started, enticing people to move to Corby and the surrounding areas resulting in massive housing developments that are still ongoing today.

After settling my daughter in we headed back up the A1 for home, as we passed Newark we witnessed a spectacular sunset, unfortunately not able to capture it.
