Evans cherry
We checked out the garden this morning in a bit of autumn sunshine. The dahlias are still flowering, and I was pleased to see that the little Evans cherries I am growing from pits sent from Canada are getting some good leaf colours and looking healthy. Hope they get through our wet winter weather ok! I expect they are used to being frozen but not drenched.
We had a good walk at Howe Ridding in the afternoon, it’s so lovely and quiet there, just the occasional passing raven overhead.
