Our holiday ‘up north’ was cancelled due to Covid, so instead we are using the days to explore new places in and around our home town. Today we went for a long walk through some beautiful woods that are only about 10 miles from our house. Not far from where this photo was taken two deer burst out of the undergrowth only feet from where we were standing. Jaffa was off the lead but she was so startled she froze and I was able to grab her before she bolted after them.
