Remodeling Day 1

We are having an addition put on our house and today was the first day.  They tore off the cover of the porch, removed brick, and cut away the cement.  We are extending the living room and dining room back into that area to give us more living space. In the extras is a before picture, after we finished moving all of our junk off the patio. I hope it doesn't take too long.  Some supplies are not as readily available as usual because of Covid and the fires in the west. It would be nice to be finished before Christmas, but it seems kind of unlikely.
