Celebratory Sushi

Up and at ‘em to get on with a bit of a work backlog. Ferries by The Boy who decided to take me up on the offer of a lift to his driving theory test. I browsed the shops while he did it - it’s a miserable experience now so I gave up and sat on a bench in the sunshine reading my book!

Anyway, he passed which is simply splendid! I tried to take him for lunch to celebrate but we’re both so indecisive we ended up with Tesco meal deal sushi in the car park!!

Once home I tried again to knuckle down and was on it until 1/3 of gin club turned up with birthday gifts and stayed fit cake and a cuppa. Happy days, I’ll just get up early tomorrow!

After tea, MrRoly and I headed off to the Roseland to collect a bookcase did my office. There was a bit of grumbling about how far it was but my argument that it was a lot closer than IKEA (and a lot cheaper) was accepted.

It also gave us chance to speak with Eldest, she’s wobbling about staying in Cardiff with the tightened restrictions coming in on Friday evening...
