Woodland glade

Crawfordsburn Country Park was beautiful today. As I drove in along the wooded lane I thought how lovely the autumnal trees were, but then I reflected that it’s always lovely, no matter the season. I haven’t been here for ages and it was so great to meet up with SJ (a teacher pal, off school a week earlier than anticipated due to COVID shutdown) and Sophie the dog.

We had a walk along the river, which was very swollen, up to the waterfall, which was a raging torrent! I would put a photo in as an extra, except I don’t know how to do that (or if it’s even possible) on my iPhone.

I must return again soon with the Ards Man, he would like it here.
