Keep your eyes peeled

Burghead is a lovely harbour with amazing views across to Findhorn to the Black Isle and beyond. It’s great for spotting dolphins, basking sharks and minke whales. The harbour also provides shelter to wintering ducks and waders. This turnstone was feeding off the wall and I thought it odd it was alone. It flew off and I followed it to a buttress on the harbour wall where it joined lots more turnstones and redshanks - they were beautifully camouflaged
