On The Third Day

Day Three At The Rugby Club - and what a great day it was, all the hard work paid off. The Ready4Rugby touch tournament was a great success as was the BBQ with the Town Mayor cooking and serving.

Even more of a surprise was my award of 'Volunteer Of The Year', a huge large cup and a round of applause was extremely gratifying as were the individual congratulations I received throughout the day.

We moved inside later in the day to watch the Chiefs beat Racing 19 to become European Champions over only a beer or three and one tot. Clare picked me up and it was home for a coffee and sandwich.

One thing the current COVID restrictions ensure - we arrive home from a night out at a reasonable time!
