Coming on

Quiet day working at home and made lots of progress on backlog and email etc. Couple of rather exciting new projects in the air which could be fun.
Late afternoon after a longish meeting I decided to take a walk down to John Lewis (not sure why I bothered - hadn't realised they were almost camping out on just a couple of floors. There was hardly anything there and it felt like a closing down sale). Anyway, on the way there it was quite a shock to see how much the new building has come on where the old St James' Centre was - you can see the weird egg shaped hotel peeping out at the back there - such a controversial design (mind you, what it replaced was dreadful!).  The developers have been objecting to other buildings nearby as they apparently might block the view from their hotel....talk about self centred! 
Home and tidied up, had a series of jokey exchanges with C about his restaurant adventures all round the UK and then a zoom call with TK. Will be lovely to see her again and catch up.
