Out for the Count
For the first time in several months, I went out to do our Wetlands Bird Survey. After getting fitter on holiday, I felt it would be doable. The usual suspects were present. I’d expected plenty of fungi at this point in the season, but there was very little indeed - a few Millers and some White Saddles. The Autumn colours were beautiful.
The first garden Redwing of the year arrived in our neighbour’s tree.
