Local Wildlife

Today a huge owl landed in the yard, on top of a pole out in the yard. The kids saw it and they were so excited you’d think their lives had changed. (Sorry, no picture)

Then this muskrat created a stir among the kids. He was looking for a new home and it shouldn’t have been here near people. Tonight after dark it started scratching on the windows which freaked out the kids considerably.

After much screaming we moved it along.

A very exciting day when you’re six.
