Vintage soul..

Whilst tidying a drawer, I came across this Northern Soul badge, circa 1974, which I had, once upon a time, hand stitched onto a pair of my denim jeans. The jeans have long gone but the badge has survived 2 house moves!
Wigan Casino was a Mecca for northern soul fans in the 1970s. The music was great and the place had an atmosphere all of its own.
Sadly it’s no longer there , demolished in the 1980s to make way for a car park!
