Who'd have thought

that when my friend Denise gave me this birthday card back in April we'd still be in this mess nearly 7 months later. I kept it on the mantle piece because I thought it lovely, the thought and intricate work that had gone into it as much as the sentiment of hope. I will keep it there until the better days do arrive.

Great coffee morning chat with camera club, lots of subjects covered, and a bit of a laugh which is good for the soul. 

Groomed the dogs, made a sausage casserole, had a long chat with my friend in Southampton, and now the sun is shining.

No cardio tennis tonight as it's half term, tempted to open a bottle of wine - Even if it is a school night!
