I told a friend yesterday, that the only other city I've felt "at home" in, other than Fort Worth, was Austin. Austin constantly calls me to come and live within its city limits. Yet Fort Worth is still the one I come back to.

Like the fictional other woman, Austin shows me a weekend of fun. But when the weekend is up, it's back to the familiar awesome people, the bike friendliness, and that old charm of Fort Worth that brings me home. Actually, to be honest, it's really the people.

Austin as a city might call, but the people of Fort Worth keep me here.
