Across to Fife

It was refreshing to be able to lie in bed till nearly 9. Then a walk up to Mortonhall with L for coffee and a long, long chat. No plants were bought or looked at and it was 2 before we got home.

Then another landscaper to advise on the front, some emails and I was about to make an important call when the drain guys turned up. The gurgling has been stopped but they'll be back in a week or so to sort another problem.

Then 2 calls in quick succession by which time I felt really wrung out. I have a very busy few days ahead, lots of papers to read and 2 recordings to make. Discipline is what is needed.
