Tyrley Locks

On the Shropshire Union Canal.

Last night's  'red sky at night, shepherds' delight' certainly delivered as it has been a beautiful Autumn day and whilst Mr HB took advantage to give his models a fly I had a brisk walk along the tow path which was, in places,  accompanied by a gentle plinkity plonk in the canal and even on my head.  I soon realised it was showers of acorns coming off the trees.  I saw a few Jays around and a couple of squirrels making the most of a free dinner!
