Go Fly!

Lovely sunshine at Holyfield Farm this afternoon. We met a couple of friendly birders who we have seen many times before. They're both Ollie dog fans. :) They were looking at tweety birds feeding on the green manure seedheads. I saw chaffinches, goldfinches, greenfinches, long tailed tits, great tits, blue tits and wrens. The guys said there were bramblings and stonechats too.

My main image is a red kite being harried by a crow. I've chosen this as it shows the dorsal view of the bird which isn't seen as often as the ventral. I've added a beautifully bright yellowhammer to extras.
