My tired mummy...

He told me he was tired - I'd kind of already guessed before we even got in the car to come home from school... 

I went shopping today!  Yay!  Random Thursday morning shopping - buying new school trousers (already!) and some other boring but important things.  I bumped into a former colleague in M & S of all places (buying jeggings for his wife), we did the classic triple look before realising that we did know each other (masks make it so much hard), and spent about half an hour catching up on all our news.  He left the school we had worked at around the same time as me (and started around the same time as me) - and has also recently left the job he went to - so there was much news to tell. 

Pretty uneventful rest of the day, washed the kitchen floor after lunch, which is a first and felt weirdly decadent. 

Suuuuper tired boys this evening, we made it through, and even got through spelling practice. 

Today I'm grateful for
Bumping into a friend (twice in a week, this is good!) 
Selling our old cooker on ebay, the husband 'helpfully' moved it into our kitchen because it would mean that 'we' would get it sold faster.  The move worked... 'we' did sell it whilst he was away
Sleeping children, because they really did need an early night!
