Heron

On the Lowther

When I finished (still luxuriating in the re-discovery of my electric blanket) I needed a bit of shopping so went the long way into town so I could have a short walk before it got dark. A heron glided overhead then did a quick nip and tuck, and dropped down to the river for a spot of supper.

I watched a plane’s contrails pick up the last light of the sun and it made me think of Banksey’s ‘Monet’. Wondered about UBI.
