Help wanted!

I actually got home at about 5:30 tonight at the same time as the elder daughter , who was sitting in her car watching some small birds she thought were wrens n the neighbors apple trees. They were of course warblers, but which confusing fall warbler is the question. So if anyone has any ideas...... Merlin came up with yellow rumped warblers and Cape Mays, both of which were in the trees in the spring. I think they were Cape Mays, but if anyone has an ID I would appreciate it.The exciting part of the day came as I was putting away the gardening stuff after planting the garlic. It was almost dark and I heard the  whinny call of a screech owl> Didn't see it of course and by the time I got the husband out of the basement it was gone.
