Burnham Beeches

As yesterday's weather was forecast to be good we decided to go north west of London to an area called Burnham Beeches, about a 30 minute drive. This forest is made up of mighty old oaks and, of course, lots of beech trees. What a sight, we walked a 6 mile circuit stopping off for a pre-booked lunch at an old pub half way round.
