Intensely concentrating

The relaxation of waking and knowing I could go  back to sleep, as I did for a couple of hours. The nearly total absence of calls to advise; I had one call from a staff member in a community team wanting advice on a Mental Health Act matter. (It's quicker and easier to answer than to explain who they should be talking to.) The ease of having a skin check from the Dermatologist; all clear and a few keratoses frozen off. A leisurely lunch and then a drive north which was slower than usual due to the traffic at the (early) start of a long weekend.

All made for a much appreciated 'rostered day off''.

Walked on the rapidly uncovered mudflats at Southend of Snells, and tracked a couple of white faced herons. This was the image that most appealed.
